Brisbane Modern

Immerse yourself in Brisbane’s sub-tropical architecture, rich and expansive public artworks and vibrant street art as you explore the unique buildings, cultural precincts and hidden laneways that define modern Brisbane.

Tour Highlights

Start your tour at Reddacliff Place (top of the Queen Street Mall), where an eclectic mix of architecture tells the story of Brisbane's transformation from a fledgling colony to a cutting-edge metropolis.

Then on past breath-taking public art to meander through Heritage Lanes, a brilliant example of sustainable sub-tropical architecture and the adaptive re-use of heritage buildings.

Crossing over the Kurilpa Bridge to South Bank, the undisputed site of Brisbane's emergence onto the world stage, where we explore the incredible democratic, modernist architecture of one of the southern hemisphere's largest cultural precincts.

We journey down Fish Lane past its vibrant restaurants, heritage listed buildings and towering modern apartments adorned with incredible murals and public artworks, before ending the tour with a secret look at hidden internal artwork by one of Australia's pre-eminent street artists.
